Valencia Basket returns to Roig Arena to host Kosner Baskonia in the EuroLeague

Valencia Basket men’s team returns to action at Roig Arena to play its first home game of European competition, facing the Spanish opponent it has met most often in continental tournaments, Kosner Baskonia (Tuesday 29, 8:30 p.m., Roig Arena, M+ Baloncesto 2), in a Round 2 EuroLeague matchup.

The taronja team will need the support of its fans as it approaches its third game in five days and looks to improve its performance after Sunday’s defeat in the Liga Endesa opener. 

The precedents are positive both in overall dynamics (5–3 in EuroLeague games against this opponent in Valencia) and in the recent streak (three straight wins in this competition), although a victory for the Vitoria side tomorrow would level a historical record that currently leans slightly in Valencia Basket’s favor.

Head coach Xavi Albert has his full roster available for this game, with the only question mark being the recovery of Dylan Osetkowski, who missed Sunday’s game due to illness.
